Police Technology

Police Technology is an amazing field of study. In this program you learn about the duty of a police officer and the multiple tasks he has to do in a normal day. You also learn about the law, the different problems that surrounds our world, the correct way to interact with the different type of citizens and many other things. Unfortunately, sometimes people even the ones studying in this field of study, don't know about the main's terms and vocabulary surrounding the police job. That's why I decided to make a glossary. In this glossary you'll discover 20 terms that you might or might not know that can help you learn more about the police job. You might already know some of them because I tried to put words that is the most common and the most used. Hope you can learn something new from this glossary. Enjoy it!

An arrest is the act of taking a person into custody, especially under lawful authority.

Example: There was an arrestation last night at the motel.

A piece of thick clothing worn on the top half of the body to protect the wearer from bullets.

Example: The bulletproof vest saved the police officer from the bullets.

A crime scene is any physical scene, anywhere, that may provide potential evidence to an investigator. It may include a person's body, any type of building, vehicles, places in the open air or objects found at those locations.
